Day 1 : Arrival Amman Upon your arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, meeting and assistance for formalities. Transfer to your hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : Amman / Um Qais / Ajlun / Jerash / Amman Breakfast. Morning visit of the Decapolis city of Um Qais, rich with basalt ruins and overlooking the Jordan Valley, Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius (the Sea of Galilee). Continue to the town of Ajlun, with its fortress and magnificent view into the Jordan Valley. Ajlun castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad) is a Islamic military castle of the end of the 12th century, used by the Islamic armies of the sultan Saladin to protect the region against the Crusaders and watch the comercial roads to Syria. Then, proceed to Jerash, one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Return to Amman. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Amman / Dead Sea Breakfast. Visit the ruins of Amman’s Roman theatre, the Citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. Proceed to the lowest point on the surface of earth at the Dead Sea for a swim in its warm, salty waters. Dinner and overnight at resort at the Dead Sea.
Day 4 : Dead Sea / Mount Nebo / Madaba / Wadi Mujib / Kerak / Petra Breakfast. Morning departure south through the king's way, an ancient route that still has marks left from traders, armies and pilgrims who crossed it centuries ago. Visit Mount Nebo, the alleged burial site of Moses, and onto the Christian town of Madaba, "The City of Mosaics". Proceed to Kerak through Wadi Mujib, a deep valley featuring one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. After lunch visit the Kerak castle with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. Depart to Petra for overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Full day visit of Petra Breakfast. Enter the first part of that impressive chasm known as the Siq, and bear witness to the sophistication of the Nabatean architecture. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the rose-red City with its spectacular Treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers, Monastery and High Place of Sacrifice. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Petra / Beidha / Wadi Rum / Aqaba After breakfast, proceed to Beidha, also known as Little Petra, the place where Nabateans used to entertain their guests. Continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum for a jeep tour inside the Wadi. Watch the sunset while drinking a cup of Bedouin tea in the desert. Proceed to the beautiful gulf city of Aqaba, Jordan's only outlet to the sea. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Aqaba / Amman Breakfast. Free day in Aqaba. You can choose water activities (diving, snorkeling, swimming, boat trip...), a city tour (the fort, the museum, the mosks...), shopping and strolling along the city center beach. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Amman / Departure Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Assistance with formalities by a member of our staff and departure.
